Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it as a huddle board to guide meetings. It usually is easy to use and works fine except for some small kinks. It works well with Google Meet to share your screen and present it to your peers. You can easily work remotely and still be up to date with recent events.
  • All participants can edit and add content
  • Presentation mode guides you through the slides well
  • You can add a huge amount of content
  • Sometimes slides don't load in fully and stay pixelated
  • Sometimes it is unclear to have a different page of an Excel sheet displayed as the preview
  • The moving of objects and content in the board feels a bit clunky and not smooth
  • Improved coordination between teams
  • Great overview of different topics
  • Reduced wait times
  • Good work flow

Definitely helps with coordination between different teams. It is easy as a participant to stay up to date with recent developments. It is also very convenient for people who are working remotely to participate in the workflow in comparison to having a conventional whiteboard. If the participants keep their slides clean, it is really easy to collaborate.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro has a better overview and provides a smoother workflow with its guided presentation. Miro has a way better function as a whiteboard, just like a traditional whiteboard, just online. You are very free with anything you want to add and do on the board itself. The integration of statistics and for example Google Sheets makes it easy to stay up to date.
It works well in a fluent environment where many people have to add and/or edit content remotely constantly. Miro provides a great overview of recent and important things if the boards are maintained well. If a colleague asks for a tool to work together with different units, Miro will be a great choice.

Using Miro

  • Team meetings
  • Coordination between units
  • Sharing news
  • Switched from local/offline meetings to online
  • Collaboration from anywhere and any team
  • Add more presentation tools/options
It works great with people who work remotely and everybody can stay up to date.

Using Miro

Sometimes a bit laggy when scrolling through bigger boards, but it works great when presenting and it's easy for everybody to participate.
