Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is an excellent tool for laying out digital infrastructure in an easy-to-read manner. We mainly create team flow charts that show where new infrastructure can mesh with the old and helps visualize any overlap we may have. The readability of the flow charts also allows everyone on the team an easy way to document, learn, and create, without being bogged down by mindless KT sessions.
  • The flexibility/manipulability of objects makes diagrams easy to adjust.
  • The templates make getting started super easy (we use "Flowchart" constantly).
  • The ability to have multiple editing is a great feature in our work from home environment.
  • The ability to import existing diagrams from other similar programs would help us migrate.
  • Presentation mode could include more manageability (animation, video between slides, etc).
  • The visibility of our Miro boards have helped our teams focus on the bigger picture, resulting in better productivity.
  • We have also saved a lot of time by providing a diagram on Miro that would've been a painful hour long presentation.
The implementation of Miro was extremely easy in our team and company-wide. The ability to send links and then have multiple teammates working on the same board made the transition relatively seamless and instantly made Miro a valuable tool. The addition of single sign-on company-wide merely made it that much easier.
As mentioned earlier, between single sign-on and shared browser collaboration our teams had no issues picking up Miro as a new tool. The immediate benefits far outshined our previous diagram tools. Importing from other programs is the only thing that comes to mind that we had any difficulty with in migrating to Miro.
Our workforce has become a primarily work-from-home organization. Miro gives us the ability to meet together and share a virtual whiteboard in a virtual room. This has helped not only with transitioning from project to project but also in transitioning to a new work environment. Collaboration is key!

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Visio is the primary tool we used for documentation and diagrams before we invested in Miro. However, the ease of being able to send someone a link, have someone join the whiteboard, and start editing alongside you in real-time, is much preferred to trying to figure out who still has the Visio diagram open on their desktop so I can edit it when they're done.
We recently migrated our entire network from one proxy server to a new Palo Alto proxy. This migration involved many teams that needed to be informed as to the specifics of this move. Our Miro board was able to clearly lay out the details of the network and provide a clear picture to our app owners so they could make adjustments accordingly.
