Overall Satisfaction with Miro
The principle need for a tool like this is to capture customer thinking in a way that doesn't leave the users with a prejudice towards one particular way of thinking. Many workshop frameworks can lead users to a linear way of thinking. Miro board leaves it all open for discussion and captures thoughts, requirements, customer desires and processes that allow analysts to truly explore a situation and create natural linkages between users. This is a highly (I stress) highly collaborative tool and no one is left behind. Great interface that is intuitive. Works online and via app, syncs up quickly so you get to see the latest changes. An amazing tool to get a business started, planned and people engaged quickly!
Pros
- Captures thought processes.
- Allows for elements to be linked quickly.
- Users are easily grasp the UI so not upfront training needed.
- Works seamlessly across platforms.
Cons
- As new ideas are generated on board, it would be brilliant to start to assign them to people and possibly integrate outlook - why because I'm always saying ' That's a brilliant idea, can you follow up with....'
- Searching the web for graphics so that they can be applied to the Miro displays.
- Boards can get quite large, could they be expanded and collapsed like a 'spider' so that it's easier to manage larger, phased though processes.
- I believe it's a quick ROI. The time saved and productivity is an easy business justification.
- It's also a great talking point when working remotely with customers. The application alone encourages customers to be more interactive when breaking down their challenges.
Yes, in a positive way. Especially during COVID. Our project continued thanks to Miro throughout the pandemic. I also want to stress that between video and the board, users in a group hardly notice the actual distance or time zones that would otherwise inhibit progress, productivity and the passions teams may face in the real world.
