Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro in my organization is one of the tools that people can use to work together remotely. I use Miro to collaborate with internal and external teams. The main business problem that the product addresses is collaboration effectively. The scope of my use case is brainstorming ideas, developing analyses, designing visuals, work-planning

Pros

  • It's endless canvas approach is much help with lots of features included periodically
  • One thing I like is the feature to bring all users to the presenter's view/cursor. This helps focus on what is being discussed
  • Adding sticky notes, tables, sketching freestyle options are very useful

Cons

  • Editing frames is sometimes difficult in Miro. It clashes with underlying objects or just doesn't happen sometimes
  • Creating layers of objects e.g. one on top of another and then modifying one of them is a task especially if they are closely designed
  • More shape templates should be added to Miro. It has basic shapes but sometimes things are to be designed so creatively that none of the shapes fit in
  • Miro has improved my and my team's productivity greatly as we don't have to schedule calls regularly and can keep track of everything through updates on Miro
  • It has definitely helped me to be more organized as I keep on referring back time and again to my board where I have placed everything I would require for my tasks
No. Not really. It was done seamlessly by my firm's IT branch
Miro fit in perfectly in my stream of work and considering it's intuitive and easy to learn design, I was able to catch on and start using it in my day to day life in no time
It has helped immensely as I have teams across the world - APAC, Americas, and EMEA with whom I interact on a day-to-day basis. It has reduced the need for version-controlled documents and expanded our collaboration process where we can check things/updates anytime, anywhere, and with any device

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I use all products for different use cases. Miro stacks up well in comparison as it is easy to use and has a design that is more suited for collaboration
Miro is well suited for scenarios where one has to collaborate and brainstorm (especially remotely and in different parts of the world). It is very suitable to do work planning, prioritizing tasks, designing potential views/visuals during product sprints, and as a dump site for collecting various references which can be used later in one's workstream. It is less appropriate when designing super accurate, highly presentable material in my opinion
