Overall Satisfaction with Miro
MIRO is regularly used for Agile ceremonies like the Retro sessions at the end of each sprint. Additionally, it is used by all teams to present their product roadmaps, role-based roadmaps, quarterly reports, delivery roadmaps, PI plans, and more.MIRO was also a key tool used in the Idea Brief sessions to develop different business cases. Different activities like Vision, Goals, Personas, Feature Brainstorming, As-Is, To-Be State, Sequencing, Sizing sessions.
Pros
- Retro sessions during Agile ceremonies
- Roadmap planning for all teams in a tribe
- Delivery planning of different features
- Idea brief activities - Vision board, Goals, Sizing, Sequencing of features, epics and user stories
Cons
- When more than 8-10 people are working on a board/frame, sometimes we experience a lag and it is slow to connect to the server and refresh
- Sometimes the board export doesn't work or some elements are missing once exported
- Definitely improves productivity
- Centralized location to maintain project, program info
- Project completion time reduced as information is readily available for consumption
Massively. We have been remotely working for over 2 years now and I cannot imagine getting through the workshops, Agile sessions, and other activities without MIRO. As I manage a big team, and now some of them are on different continents, MIRO is worth its weight in gold in our day-to-day tasks.
