Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro as a collaborative whiteboard for brainstorming purposes or in the past, for agile ceremonies predominantly retrospectives. I encourage teams to use Miro during stand-ups to collate the things that they are working on. I also find the templates particularly useful especially the ones related to mapping and diagramming.
  • Available in all devices including desktop and mobile.
  • Predefined board templates.
  • Easily collating research.
  • Creating mind maps.
  • Board sometimes is slowing down when many users are working on it.
  • User cursor identification.
  • Navigation with mouse.
  • Log in process.
  • It has improved productivity.
  • Helps with faster decision-making.
  • Helped me to gather lessons learned.
The implementation was easy and quite smooth. The only issue is that at times it can become slow. The most difficult thing to get used to is navigating by right-clicking the mouse.
It’s quite easy to use but as I mentioned I believe it’s not as suitable for less tech-savvy users.
As mentioned, Miro helps a lot with collaborating online. As a project manager, I can easily follow what the team is doing in real time or tag people to divide tasks. It has been particularly useful during workshops or to brainstorm ideas and create team boards.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I believe they are quite similar but I personally prefer Miro.
Miro is a great collaboration tool that helps teams to work on activities and brainstorm ideas in real time. It has made our move to working from home easier during the pandemic. It has allowed us to easily visualise, map and organise our ideas securely. However, due to its user interface, I believe Miro is best suited for workshops with more tech-savvy users.
