Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used for online brainstorming, information harvesting, workshopping, and training. This varies from pre created templates and excersises to simply using the whiteboard function as an online flip chart. Much of the work moved online and we had to find new ways of working and tools, but these experiences also have benefited the international context we already worked in

  • Flexibility
  • Options to designing the whiteboard
  • Downloading copies of the bord
  • Low demand on computer resources

  • Steep learning curve for users
  • Difficulty for new people to access the Miro
  • Workshops online
  • Ease of documenting the outcomes
  • Increased participation and contribution
Miro is not integrated with other software and a separate account has to be created
More and better involvement from partners and people internationally

Jam board is with a personal google account, and does not provide much more possibilities than only post it’s. MURAL has an even steeper learning curve for both users and participants
Miro is well suited in an environment with somewhat tech-experienced users, but the board has to be designed well and people should be instructed to take a look and make an account beforehand. The learning curve is steep and making an account is not that easy, it is best to use it within a smaller team and not so much for public webinars
