Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are using miro to collaborate between different teams, organize project workflow and bring together and mind map information. It's very useful for creating quick but presentable flowcharts and diagrams that other team members can quickly add to, edit, and amend without things getting messy or spending long periods of time re-drafting. These can later be finalized in PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, or illustrator for final presentations to clients. It's also great for mood-boarding or just pinning up lots of information to work out a design concept or direction, and then organizing this. I like using frames to keep information organized though I've experienced some glitching with this. It can also get fiddley and glitchy as you begin to create more complex groupings of objects. While I was a student I also made use of the drawing functionality to sketch out ideas using my stylus/touchscreen.
  • mind mapping
  • mood boarding
  • collaboration
  • ideation
  • Using groups for objects can get glitchy
  • Quicker and more intuitive tools for aligning things/making things look presentable
  • Make it easier to lay out the board so you don't accidentally make things too big/small (things tend to accidentally get bigger the more you add until you reach text size limit) or make it easy to resize lots at once or reset the sizing
  • reduced completion time
  • improved communication and collaboration
  • improved outcome for client
Very easy to start using, but it would be great to have more export options to other formats (to make it easier to convert to PowerPoint or illustrator, etc) or create vectors
We work with teams in different countries so it's been very helpful to feel like we are sat round the same notes/table in a meeting and move things around and change things live

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Would you buy Miro again?

Great for mind mapping the workflow of a complex project with multiple teams involved, and for collaborating with team members who are less familiar with graphics software and need to review more easily
