Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used in our organization to facilitate communication and collaboration between clients, other stakeholders, and the design team either in real-time or at a time suitable to whoever is using the 'board'. The platform addresses the issues of conveying design or other project-related information while at the same capturing markups and other thoughts from stakeholders all in one convenient place.
  • Conveying drawings or other forms of information
  • Capturing stakeholder thoughts and markups interactively
  • Real time collaboration between the design team and stakeholders/clients
  • Better panning or zoom tools
  • Higher resolution and quicker previews
  • Reduced time setting up multiple collaboration systems
  • Improved stakeholder communication experience
  • Improved collaboration experience
For our uses, the system has integrated PDFs, images, and documents rather well; the speed of loading higher quality documents and imagery could be improved, however. We have not been able to successfully use video although this may just be an issue of experience rather than that of platform limitations.
Miro's whiteboard has been an indispensable tool for client and stakeholder collaboration. The system and its UI are very intuitive, with notes from stakeholders and team members being able to be left and viewed easily. The accessibility of the system is noted, with it being able to be accessed on the go from other types of devices (e.g. mobiles and tablets).

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is well suited for scenarios where PDFs or PowerPoint slides are intended to be shared and viewed by multiple users across multiple teams. It works especially well during presentations, inviting users to collaborate and share thoughts in real-time or at a time that is suitable to them. It does not work well in sharing voice or video content in a synchronized manner.
