Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro in our planning sessions, in the follow-up sessions of the proposed/carried out actions, and in the performance evaluation sessions.

Pros

  • Planning sessions with multiple times, simultaneously.
  • 360 degree visibility for the team on all points discussed and recorded.
  • Intuitive use of the tool.
  • Excellent tool for remote team sessions.

Cons

  • Locks could be created for frames and insights, record spaces, etc. Especially for novice users, it is quite common to change the layout of the proposed rooms/sessions. And this can lead to a lot of confusion and disorganization in the records.
  • The possibility to hide the cursor from other users. This can lead to distractions during sessions. If this function exists, please tell me because I think it's very relevant.
  • I would love to be able to include Tags in Posts Its that can link them to prioritized initiatives or actions. This could make it easier to see the big picture.
  • To be honest, I do not have access to the amounts invested by the company I work for so that we have access to Miro, but I consider that this has been an assertive investment since the tool has allowed us to improve our planning, registration, and presentations during our team meetings.
Although I was not part of the team that decided to implement Miro in our company, I want to say that I am very satisfied with the fact that this tool is available in our work.
As I said earlier, Miro might not be as intuitive for people over 50. I believe that thinking of solutions that facilitate the use of this user profile can increase the success of the integration process.
I can say that it contributed significantly. Miro allows us to generate records individually and as a team, in person or remotely. Especially during the pandemic and now when hybrid work requires greater flexibility for online meetings, Miro is an excellent solution.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Jamboard has page limitations, and the information on each page cannot be visually connected to the others. Trello, in my opinion, is a tool that works much more like minutes, activity breakdowns, and/or reminder schedules. Miro is versatile; it has no limitations and allows you to build much more complex frames.
Miro is very intuitive and allows us to build boards, collaboratively, as a team, even remotely. In addition to allowing us to have access to all information recorded without the limitation of pages or space, as occurs on other platforms. As mentioned before, the cursor of other users, moving on the screen, can be a distraction; I would leave this display module as optional and easily accessible to choose from.People over the age of 45 may have difficulty using Miro. Perhaps, creating a guided mode of use can help these people.

Using Miro

  • Quarter planning
  • Results assessment
  • Project board
  • Organization of simultaneous and asynchronous work at different times of a project, using the same framework.
  • Maybe I used a tool in multi-country projects
Unfortunately this is not a decision that is under my responsibility, however, I think it would be the right thing to do.
