Overall Satisfaction with Miro
It's not a proper meeting without a Miro board - I use Miro for most of my research work: planning, writing interview guides, note taking, theming and creating one-pager reports. It's a highly adaptive tool that I can use in a variety of contexts. We also frequently use it in meetings and workshops, you'll often hear someone saying "Of course we have a Miro board..."
Pros
- Engaging workshop participants
- Making it easy to plan and execute workshops
- Love that you can easily upload documents and slide decks
Cons
- I wish there was a way to collect my various boards into folders on the "recent boards" page
- I'd like to add arrows to and from frames
- It'd be handy to be able to unlock multiple items at once
- Saves me time and confusion by allowing me to use a single tool for most activities
I use it for my own work and when conducting workshops with both internal staff and external customers. Miro generally makes this very easy, although I have had security issues previously which prevented people from interacting with Miro. Though this maybe to do with our implementation?
When it's working well - it's a dream
