Overall Satisfaction with Miro

So far we have used Miro for following purposes: (i) brainstorming and merging ideas into structured workflow, for (ii) planning personal goals and growth of the team in near future and in this regard to use the Miro tool to interactively communicate with coworkers, and (iii) for showing the project development timelines with the results that help us to take strategic decisions.

  • Connectivity and flexibility of clouds with arrows
  • Multimedia support, e.g. tables, videos, connectivity with external tools
  • User management and sharing capabilities with several policy options

  • Copy and paste features for tables do not behave as excel tables - sometimes cell to cell actions have to be manually applied
  • Zoom in/out and drag and drop actions - sometimes there are hard times with application freezing
  • Going beyond one canvas and increase connectivity
  • Positive: Good overview of results in one place and boosting project strategy shaping
  • Positive: Collaboration mode - contributions of many coworkers are seen and recognized
When working within large organization, working with personal emails and passwords is not appreciated. Miro integration was partially addressed on system level, meaning company employee can install it and use it immediately. On the other hand, login with credentials can be done using SSO approach, which is established way to access other tools within the company.
Contributions of other coworkers are visible and recognized by email notifications that could also be adjusted. This way all contributors remain in the loop and keep touch with new information. Having seen progress and additional content from one employee immediately triggers interest of others - this way we keep motivation high regardless geographical location.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Miro is great application for visualization of thoughts and shaping it to tree-like structures where topology is not trivial like 2D arrays and sheets in Excel or OneNote applications. When distribution of features used become broad and content starts to extend small scale then editing and speed performance are jeopardized.
