Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I work on global projects where work is mostly done virtually. The main use case for me to use Miro is when it comes to workshops that we can not do face-to-face and where simultaneous collaboration is required from participants. In these situations, I usually require colleagues to work together: provide input, contribute to the development of a joint concept, etc. This tool increases the efficiency of this greatly.
Pros
- Project Retrospective meetings.
- Project Planning Meetings.
- Design thinking workshops.
Cons
- I don't like that I must use a password if I share a board with someone outside of my company. I would prefer the password to be optional.
- I could use more shapes/symbols/ 'SmartArt' in order to create more interesting/fancy-looking setups.
- I don't' like that post-its can not be more flexibly reshaped.
- Improved communication/collaboration in workshops.
- Better documentation.
- Improved efficiency, resulting in lower costs.
I believe Miro boards have become a primary tool in collaborative meetings/workshops. Projects have a number of such occasions, especially when work is done in a virtual set-up. For this reason, Miro, as a tool, is contributing positively to my organization.

I use features of Webex, which is similar to Miro, but in a multi-participant situation, I always use Miro as it has richer features.
