Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for several use cases: - brainstorming, writing down and drawing up new ideas together - drawing existing and new business processes and using the Miro boards as a reference - collecting requirements for new IT features. Miro really helps in the visualization of complex ideas and problems, explaining and building on new ideas tends to get complicated without Miro.

Pros

  • Onboarding is really easy: very intuitive to use.
  • Easily accessible for everyone.
  • Growing amount of templates.

Cons

  • Templates for IT architecture can be added.
  • Explain better what limits are on free version.
  • Miro is very free format: with a better structure, it can invite us to use it as a documentation tooling.
  • Productivity is better.
  • Collaboration is more effective and fun.
  • No more lost in translation.
It was really helpful during Covid times to be able to do remote whiteboarding. With colleagues now all over Europe, it really helps using Miro in remote discussions.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

MURAL is great but is just lacking the usability and ease Miro has.
I use Miro for brainstorming and working together on something new, it is the best tool I know: using it is very intuitive and onboarding is super easy. Also, for training and big room planning, it is very useful with the facilitator features. Because it is so free format, it is less useful for documentation. I think it would be useful for documentation because you can quite easily adjust/add when a process or feature changes.
