Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Using Miro was an enabler during the pandemic due to how it allows collaborating in simple yet structured ways; after the pandemic, shared plans, brainstorming, retrospectives, and other team dynamics are still best when using Miro, over the time I've found that even when working face to face Miro allows to keep the backup easily, and while working with big groups it's a great tool to speed up the process and manage time efficiently.
  • Brainstorming with large groups.
  • Keep records of agreements between several groups.
  • Enables facilitations of retrospectives.
  • Centralizes information in a nice visual dashboard.
  • Ticket creation for Kanban needs several clicks to add all the information... adding tab capabilities might be easier.
  • Keeping historic data available but not visible (open tickets, tasks, etc).
  • Server speed needed is high.
  • Allowed to keep track of multiple projects easily.
  • Connects the strategies of multiple teams and makes them available to everyone with access.
  • Might be overused for things that were not intended.
It makes it easier to onboard new team members, keeps track of decisions, agreements, and to-do's so progress is easier, and enables productivity tracking through the kanban boards and Gantt charts that can be found on the templates that are already precharged on Miro, the other advantage is that there's an app to keep track on the go.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

  • Jira Service Management (Jira Service Desk)
While Jira is great for connecting tasks and keeping records of those tracks, it lacks the visual content and the on-time collaboration component; we've found that used together, they can bring a lot more value, but one cannot be replaced by the other, the fact that Miro has a way to connect with Jira makes it even better.
Tableau Desktop, Jira Service Management (Jira Service Desk)
Miro is great for collaborating and keeping track of decisions, agreements, scope, and tasks; it is not a database that will store records and keep track of historical data unless you create multiple boards to keep track of it. Miro is a visual way to present plans, enables people to collaborate regardless of where they are based, and has a user-friendly approach that is very intuitive.
