Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to mock up technology solutions and processes to help our stakeholders understand changes in their business systems. The boards I create help us with all parts of the software development lifecycle, from requirements capture, implementation details, planning, team collaboration, and impact analysis through to documentation.
  • Mock ups.
  • Collaboration/feedback.
  • Visual representation of ideas!
  • The table feature could use a little work to make it a bit easier and more flexible I think.
  • I'm not a fan of the "can comment" being only able to add comments. It would be useful if they could also add sticky notes and maybe text blocks. I'd love that kind of fine-grain control.
  • I do find the sharing model a bit incohesive, and others seem to screw it up a lot. I'm constantly fixing access issues for others.
  • Capturing intellectual property/human capital in pictures seems pretty invaluable to me.
It's been really good. Teams can give feedback in their own time, and everyone loves a good picture, so they are encouraged to get on there and comment. There have been tricky access issues, and being restricted to just comments isn't great. But all in all, it's improved my collaborative experience a lot.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is awesome, but it runs the risk of being too messy or disorganized. It is a good idea to lay down some organizing principles to help people in your team create a sensible layout on the boards that everyone can follow.
