Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for various activities at my company both within my team and with our stakeholders across many projects. We leverage the tool for brainstorming sessions, customer and partner journey mapping, process design and feedback collection. It is helpful to visualise concepts and collaborate at the same time with many people on the same tool.
  • Process design and flow charts
  • Customer and partner journey mapping
  • Brainstorming
  • Feedback collection
  • It is not easy to find the boards I worked on in the past, there could be more advanced search functionality or filters
  • There could be more product integrations to work seamlessly across more tools without leaving Miro board
  • Sometimes giving people access to the board takes a bit time. It happened 1-2 times where there was a propagation delay and the person we added to the board didn't get edit access immediately but probably it was a bug rather than a missing functionality.
  • Improved productivity
  • Time savings and less meetings
  • More efficiency and less friction in collaboration across teams
Yes, we are a highly distributed teams where we have presence in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. I have stakeholders and team members in all these regions therefore collaborating together on a tool that works efficiently is critical for us to make progress on our projects. We frequently use Miro in our project planning at discovery phases especially.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I used Google Jamboard long time ago when it was first launched and the feature set was quite limited and that's why I didn't become a frequent user and not many people in other teams were using it either. MURAL has also a pretty good product and I didn't really made a comparison between that tool and Miro but overall Miro felt more user friendly to me. But that could be due to the fact that I have used Miro much longer than MURAL.
Jira Service Management (Jira Service Desk), Jira Work Management (Jira Core), Slack, Atlassian Confluence, Zoom, Google Calendar, Google Drive
As described before I would use it for process design, user journey mapping, feedback collection and brainstorming. However, it may not be the best tool if you would like to create an organised and structured document where you just want other people to review and provide comments, there are better tools for knowledge sharing and documentation.
