Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is great for Hybrid working - collaboration, live team problem-solving, and games. For example, we used it in a strategic planning session to propose, vote on and decide on initiatives. Team members had the whole week to post sticky notes on the Miro board, and then we all discussed, edited, and moved the initiatives around live during our team meeting.
Pros
- Background music and clock for thinking / breakouts
- Same-time sticky notes collaboration
- Integration into zoom
Cons
- Very hard to zoom in / out using keyboard
- Sometimes too sensitive...accidental movements are hard to undo
- Not useful help features if we need quick help
- Reduced discussion times by 25%
- More group ownership
- Training more enjoyable
Very useful ESP when working from home, ensuring everyone is literally on the same page. There is more ownership, and more involvement during problem-solving, because people can see what each other is doing (or if someone is not doing anything at all). Absent colleagues can also go to the board afterward to see what was discussed
