Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is great for Hybrid working - collaboration, live team problem-solving, and games. For example, we used it in a strategic planning session to propose, vote on and decide on initiatives. Team members had the whole week to post sticky notes on the Miro board, and then we all discussed, edited, and moved the initiatives around live during our team meeting.

Pros

  • Background music and clock for thinking / breakouts
  • Same-time sticky notes collaboration
  • Integration into zoom

Cons

  • Very hard to zoom in / out using keyboard
  • Sometimes too sensitive...accidental movements are hard to undo
  • Not useful help features if we need quick help
  • Reduced discussion times by 25%
  • More group ownership
  • Training more enjoyable
More bite-sized tips and tricks would be great. At the moment, there is no obvious avenue to ask for help, unlike the Office 365 Suite, where help is easy to access, simple to use and the help provided is very practical. I find I have to google if I have problems with Miro, which is a bit frustrating
We've not had to integrate it with many other products. When we use it with Zoom, it is clear enough. However, when trying to pdf or PPT certain portions of the board, it is very difficult. Comes out very tiny...end up having to screenshot portions...not user-friendly. There may be a way to do it, but again very difficult to find Help on it
Very useful ESP when working from home, ensuring everyone is literally on the same page. There is more ownership, and more involvement during problem-solving, because people can see what each other is doing (or if someone is not doing anything at all). Absent colleagues can also go to the board afterward to see what was discussed

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

No

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Training sessions. We actually used Miro for some training where we got participants to team up and think about ideas for hybrid working. We then used the board to share the ideas among teams, group them according to themes, etc. Was much better (and more permanent) than simply annotating a blank sheet in Zoom
