Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro has been indispensable for us during the pandemic. We maintained momentum and everybody really enjoyed being able to collaborate closely and to interact with each other in a virtual space. It is a great tool and quite intuitive - so easy to learn and gain value from.
Now post pandemic I cannot see how we would be able to collaborate in distributed teams on the level which we do without Miro. Large room plannings would be impossible and the teams' overviews would be lost.
  • I love how playful Miro is and working with Miro is a joy
  • Large room planning in a distributed workforce would be almost impossible without Miro
  • Also great for training and presentations
  • License management in my organisation is pushing for us to use MS Whiteboard, but every time I do I get frustrated on the lagging functionality and pop back to Miro.
  • One thing I would love to see being worked more on are the integrations to Jira and Confluence. Especially the Confluence integration is lagging quite some functionality.
  • Templates for frames would also be a nice feature.
  • Being able to copy locked content.
  • Improved productivity in the distributed teams
  • Greater transparancy
  • Team cohesiveness
As written before Miro has been fundamental for us to transition from a 100% onsite company to having the flexibiliyty to work from home without loosing the feeling of collaborating.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

We evaluated MURAL and MS Whiteboard as well. Between the three Miro came out on top. I think the decision came down to ease of use and templates.
You should get Miro if your distributed teams are struggling to feel connected. It really helps with the feeling that you are working together.
Miro is also really great as an information radiator allowing stakeholders to get an easy overview of what the team is working on.
If you only need to create presentations then use a dedicated presentation software.
