Miro is great for engaging stakeholders.
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to manage and facilitate meetings with multiple stakeholders. Miro allows us to track all the small projects and workflows we are building for our clients in one place. There are many moving parts, and Miro allows me the flexibility to show how all the pieces come together.
Pros
- Quick note-taking.
- Collaboration.
- Organizing the big picture.
- Documenting progress.
Cons
- The documents feature is new. It seems cool, but I don't love it yet.
- When you connect a sticky note to a card, you can't see everything connected to a card. In my boards, I will often use a card for more significant deliverables, and stickies will be the subtasks. There is no good process for connecting them.
- When you paste a link into a board link, previews tend to be big and lack valuable info.
- It takes time to get new people comfortable with Miro. They get overwhelmed by the flexibility.
- Better communication with partners.
- Better communication with the team.
- Better ability for strategy development.
It has been huge. This was the main reason that we started using Miro. I was remote from many of my stakeholders before the pandemic. This tool has made it so much easier to collaborate. It has been great for running design sprints and facilitating workshops, too. Miro is a tool that I use every day.
Way better. I don't have a ton to say. Miro is by far the easiest to use and the most intuitive. It has also been getting better every year.
