Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Better team coordination
  • Centralized status/tracking visibility to clients
We selected monday.com after a careful and systematic assessment of many other tools, using a requirements coverage matrix with relative weighting to determine which best fit our most important requirements. monday.com stood out from others due to its very polished and user-friendly user interface, its flexibility and open-ended nature, and the simplicity of the automation features. monday.com has been actively evolving and releasing new features, several of which have been quite useful (e.g., sub items, expanded column mirroring abilities, etc.). So it is great to use a platform that is advancing to keep up with competing options.
  • Polished UI
  • Open-ended and flexible
  • Easy automation
  • Relatively costly compared to similar options
  • No built-in scrum workflow structure
  • Doesn't have seamless code repo integration
  • A more advanced automation/scripting engine could be good for advanced users
It has a very polished and intuitive user interface and tends to be easy and pleasant for new users to pick up. Automation features are simple to set up (for non-programmers too), where, if anything, I wish a more detailed pseudo-code automation/scripting feature would be provided. The mobile app is pretty good as well.
Our monday.com rep has been available and responsive to inquiries about our subscription and service. We have not had to rely on technical support very much, as there have not been platform issues.
The platform has been reliable. We have not seen any real bugs or outage issues.

Do you think monday.com delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with monday.com's feature set?

Yes

Did monday.com live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of monday.com go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy monday.com again?

Yes

It is a very open-ended tooling platform that does not presume any one structure or workflow, but rather lets users build out (with minimal effort) a board structure that can match a super wide variety of team workflows. Beyond team workflows, we have found ourselves using monday.com to manage data sets that were previously handled in Excel, since, in simpler implementations, monday.com can be thought of as a spreadsheet on steroids. But it can scale up to be much more than just a spreadsheet structure and has proven useful at managing overall project task workflows and timelines, including sizable projects with 10+ active developers.
