Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

Monday.com is used by our company to track the progress and/or status of virtually every facet of our operations, including daily operations, equipment/fleet inventory, continuous improvement, and project management.
  • The boards and dashboards are able to be customized to fit most needs and are extremely useful for "at-a-glance" assessment.
  • It is outstanding as a communication tool between team members.
  • The training videos, courses, and workshops are very helpful for getting started as well as for unlocking useful features that you didn't know existed.
  • The team can be slow to respond to questions or suggestions.
  • There are minor features I would like to see, such as the ability to see totals on status columns, more flexibility on situational coloring, and more options on things that can be graphed (specifically, seeing changes over time).
  • When they ask for feedback on a new feature, I have no idea if my feedback was received or taken into consideration, as there is no acknowledgement.
  • There seems to be a glitch where the columns on the boards are often jumbled when first loaded and don't set themselves where they should be unless the page is reloaded.
The templates are very easy to use, but some of the more advanced features take time to learn and setup. We haven't found that the integration with other apps is useful for us, but that may be specific to our use of Monday.com or a lack of understanding how the integrations can be useful.
I believe that there could be some improvement with customer support and responsiveness, but I don't really have reason to complain, either.
We have never had a problem with outages, but have experienced trouble loading dashboards on a few occasions. Overall, the reliability is excellent.

[Monday.com] is ideal for seeing the "big picture," "at-a-glance" status of whatever you are working on. With the colorful boxes, I can quickly scan a board and immediately see which items are on track and which are in need of attention. From there, I can quickly determine the details of specific items by checking the updates.

It is not ideal if you like to see things organized in outline-style formats using sub-groupings. (This is one area where Wrike outshines Monday.com.) They recently added a feature that allows sub-tasks, but these are not immediately visible unless you click on the main task and are therefore easily overlooked. They also don't count towards completion or other status totals.
