monday.com is available across the organization for project management and opportunity tracking. It also helps leadership in managing resources. Previous light weight project management services do not allow for robust external user integration, calendarization, and other features. monday.com has the best visual tools, customizations, and built in features compared to other solutions I've tried.

  • It would be nice to have "unique" fields where certain values could only be used once per board.
The templates fit well, the different views are easy to use and simple to understand, and there are video tutorials for just about everything. The features are intuitive, and the easiest way to learn is to try.
I have used the customer support a few times and been able to find the answers that I needed. On few occasions I couldn't find just the right tool I was able to reach out to my account manager and had an answer quickly. On the one instance where there wasn't a satisfactory answer, my account manager submitted a feature request.
I have not had any issues with reliability or features not performing as designed. I use the software daily for all projects because it is a wonderful, deceptively lightweight tool.

I've liked using it at smaller companies. It works for complex projects with a lot of steps and stakeholders. For more relaxed company cultures, or new companies, it's intuitive enough for people to use organically. Different teams can use the service in different ways and still provide value for everyone. Integrations with Slack and Teams helps keep everyone on the same page. I haven't yet had the opportunity to see it in action at a company where there are strict controls on internal processes.
