Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • As we've unlocked the automations feature and set it up, it has saved a lot of time as far as communicating between team members about the status of a task, and really helps managers to know the status of something without having to convene a mtg.
  • It helps with sharing in one convenient location and keeps everyone involved on the same page at all times.
  • Setting up a board is very easy, customizing things is quick and simple.
  • I manage so many people, and with monday.com I'm able to have team meetings where I give out tasks. Once it's assigned I track everything on monday.com until it is complete. Employees can mark "stuck" or "need help" and I can just go in and leave comments on that step. It is especially nice when you manage people who work in different offices, or work from home. I feel like time is not lost and I always know what everyone is doing. I can also add detail or redirect tasks as needed.
Our company uses monday.com across marketing, sales, and customer service departments. We assign and manage tasks, and also use it to provide feedback on tasks. It provides one place to check all work, and allows all employees to understand what each other is doing, where we stand on specific tasks, and especially helps management identify areas where employees are needing more help or support. It keeps us organized, on time, and efficient.
  • It allows complete customization throughout a task's process, so we know the exact status at all times and can see notes and updates in real time, and can post links or attachments for even more clarity.
  • We can set up automations so that when a task meets a specified milestone, it can automatically alert the next person/team to get working on their part. In the meantime, a project manager always knows what's going on.
  • Integration with other workspace tools like Slack and Trello is helpful.
  • Monday uses colors that help to organize and sort.
  • You can adjust views so that you look at one specific attribute if you want.
  • Download boards to excel and share boards with others.
  • It would be nice to have different packages for automations. The automations packages jump from 250 to 25,000 and there's nothing in the middle. That's strange.
  • When I upgrade my subscription, it would be nice if I could use some automations or something to update with the new features rather than do everything manually.
It is extremely efficient and there is a way to customize every feature to my exact needs. It anticipates how I might want to use a certain feature and gives me options for how I want to see that.
I have never really used customer support. I haven't needed it up until now. Through the help pages and youtube videos, I'm able to get the information I need.
I have never experienced and outage or glitch in the system. Everything seems to update in realtime and makes it very effective for work management. I use it constantly. The tab is always open on my screen and I always know what all my employees are up to. Automations make things even easier as most of my projects require multiple people from different teams to work together.

Do you think monday.com delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with monday.com's feature set?

Yes

Did monday.com live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of monday.com go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy monday.com again?

Yes

This is fantastic for managers who have a lot of people to keep track of. It's great for employees who have a lot of tasks to manage at once, to keep things prioritized and on their radar at appropriate times. I love it for link sharing. We don't use file sharing much. I like the integration across multiple boards and this is useful if multiple teams are going to be working together on a task. We don't use the time tracking features much but from what I see there are a lot of useful tools if time/efficiency is important.

monday.com & Collaboration

YES! This is exactly why I like it so much. I have a lot of projects that involve sales and marketing personnel. A task will start with the sales team and as they finish certain milestones, it cues my marketing team to start working on their section. They can submit and throw things automatically back to the sales team to compile and complete. As a manager I can see the timing of the entire process, monitor who or where the bottlenecks are, I can adjust assignments or give input at any time. And then I can get a report when everything is complete and ready for me to improve. The process could not be made any easier.

For the things I need out of monday.com at my organization, everyone would tell you that it helps to know the status of every single task. We have 100's of tasks across a dozen boards with three different teams involved at all times. It keeps things flowing, ensures everyone knows what's going on, and it makes it so easy to adjust and give feedback to everyone so that we are all always on the same page.
