Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • It has definitely helped communication in terms of deadlines and dates between departments.
monday.com is currently being used by all departments in my company. We all use different boards to track projects in different ways. This addresses communication issued we previously had as all the information lives in one place now and anyone can reference the board and see who made the last updates.

Pros

  • Easy to use.
  • Updates automatically when more than 1 user is looking at/editing a board.
  • Ability to archive items.
  • Ability to export to Excel for reports.

Cons

  • When setting up automations, it can be difficult to find the one you're looking for until you are familiar with the different types.
  • I think this is just a learning curve but I would like to be able to link boards to each other more easily so that different departments using the same information can all live on one master board so that when it is updated in one place, it is updated everywhere.
monday.com is very easy to use for general board setup but in order to get all departments on the same page so we are not updating the same information in multiple places, it is a little harder to do this.
I have not used monday.com support.
monday.com's features work as described with no user experience issues to date.

Yes

It is great for simple tracking of dates, approvals, general comments, etc. We tried setting up automations at the beginning of using monday.com but it was difficult to make them useful to us without over complicating the process.
