Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Increased project completion. Fewer things slip through the cracks.
  • Improved accountability.
  • Action tracking. It's very easy to see where projects went wrong after the fact, because monday.com allows you to document it all.
monday.com is used within the marketing department to help us keep track of various project requests coming from dozens of clients.
  • Customizable format.
  • Built-in ticketing options.
  • User management.
  • Limited customization options in ticket/project request forms.
  • Limited ability to search or export from the archive.
  • Many of the most valuable features are hidden behind paywalls.
monday.com is extremely intuitive if you only need it for very basic project tracking and user assignments. More advanced options (charts, scheduling, cost tracking, etc.) are not very intuitive and require self-training via tutorial videos.
monday.com hasn't seemed any better or worse than other companies offering a similar product. They have some tutorial videos and help articles available, which are useful. You're allowed to submit ideas for new features, but they aren't necessarily followed up on (as to be expected, since I'm sure monday.com employees are very busy). If you need help, you can submit a form request and someone will reach out to you via email.
monday.com does glitch out from time to time. Some features will sporadically become unavailable, notifications won't come through, items will be missing from weekly views, or at times the entire site will go down. The issue hasn't been great enough for us to unsubscribe, however.

Do you think monday.com delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with monday.com's feature set?

Yes

Did monday.com live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of monday.com go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy monday.com again?

Yes

monday.com is great for basic project management if your project tracking requirements are limited to lists and user assignments. Just keep in mind that many of monday.com's features are considered "upgrades," so you'll want to double check that the features you're most interested in are included at the level you intend to purchase. monday.com might not be the best choice if you're looking for intuitive hour tracking for billable hours.
