Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Time-saving for project tracking.
  • 2 projects with fiscal penalties would not have been completed on time. monday.com allowed them to be identified and put up on the priority list. The savings realized more than paid for the software.
  • Employees love using the software as it is much less cumbersome and complicated than excel. This is especially true amongst those who do not use computer systems as part of their daily job.
Departments are using it to optimize their project tracking. Projects are categorized based on expected completion and the risk posed to the company if they are not completed on time. Additionally, managers are able to see how their deadlines compare and/or conflict with other departments. The executives in turn have a stop-shop platform in monday.com to be able to evaluate the efficacy of their departments as compared to one another.

Pros

Cons

  • More options to customize project details
  • Unlike excel, it is not as programmable to unique needs
  • It would be nice to have different views/graphics available for selection (customized dark modes, etc)
Very simple and easy to use. Even personnel with low computer literacy find it very simple to use. Not all of the personnel we have use computers on a daily basis to the job demands. With that beings said, monday.com allows for much easier understanding of project goals/deadlines than excel. The interface is very easy to understand and all staff praise the lack of clutter and myriad of options they would otherwise need to learn using excel or other software.
Have not used it yet but I hear it is very good.
The software is very well received by staff and they like using the platform for tracking. Thus far, we have not run into any issues regarding the software failing, not saving or bugs within the system. As a work management software, we are ecstatic to be using monday.com and are slowly migrating all things excel into this software as it pertains to tracking projects

Yes

The software is very simple and easy to use regardless of computer literacy. It allows for high-level oversight of project deadlines between departments but lacks in customization when compared to some excel functions. Overall, personnel using the software have raved about its simplicity and added benefits of project tracking. We have noticed that as a return in investment that the software has basically paid for itself - 2 projects were bumped up on the priority list of to-do's based on the platform; Had that not been the case, we would have incurred financial penalties for failure to deliver. It is a very useful tool every company should at least look into using.
