Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Much easier to keep track of long term projects which saves time and helps us be more efficient.
  • Gives team members flexibility to create their own boards to help them be more organized for projects they are responsible for.
  • Saves us time when we need to reference a project that happened months ago. Our boards, statuses and updates keep records for us.
I am the manager of our Marketing Department and we use monday.com every single day as a project management tool. We have 21 boards set up with various tasks that we are responsible for. Certain members of our team use certain boards to keep track of activity and so we know what the status is. Some of our projects take months to complete, like the development of our new intranet site, while others are short term like a print job for one of our manufacturing departments. monday.com helps us keep organized and also gives us the ability to reference old projects when needed.

  • It updates immediately so there is never confusion as to the status of a project.
  • It can be accessed by multiple devices for when our team is mobile.
  • It's flexible enough for most projects.
  • More style themes.
  • More workshops or tutorials to show how monday.com can be utilized for day to day tasks.
I think that the basic functions of monday.com are very straight forward and easy to use. It's easy to build boards and modify them for your purposes. It's easy to update them and gives good visibility to a manager as to the status of projects. I feel like anything beyond the basic functions gets a little bit more complex to implement and may need some research or support.
Fortunately, we have never had an issue where we needed to contact customer support.
monday.com has always worked amazingly well for us. We recently noticed a little bit of a lag if there have been many things updated on a board while you have your app open, but it's rare and doesn't impede workflow at all. The mobile experience is solid as well. It's extremely reliable for our needs.

Anyone who has to work with a team and has lots of different types of projects that vary in size, technicality, and complexion will really find monday.com to be a useful tool. If you just need a "to-do" kind of management tool, there are probably many other options out there that will suffice. The price would not be worth it.
