monday.com Makes Me Love Mondays Again!
Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
- The ROI has been quite positive for our organization. We have a number of key members that use the tool and we have occasional viewers that are free, so the mix of user types have been a good value for us.
- We have had strong adoption across multiple departments, which was organic and not dictated. Team members have really chosen to adopt it because it makes their day easier.
- We have utilized templates extensively and that is a significant time saver.
monday.com is being used by our organization across multiple departments. It started in the real estate department for project management and grew organically, after two years it is now used by Operations, Administration, Real Estate, Sales, and Marketing departments. We needed a tool that would provide accountability and visibility for teams working in multiple locations.
Pros
- Tracks activities that have deadlines, sends reminders and provides visibility.
- Automation that allows for inventory tracking, sold something, removed from inventory, at certain level, create a reminder to order.
- Team task management.
- Project management.
- Campaigns that have many people participating in the completion.
Cons
- Speaking to someone at monday.com to get advice/guidance how to do some of the more complex things.
- Subtasks have improved, but we still run into limitation such as not being able to quick move a task to be a subtask.
- Timeline view is not visually helpful on most of our boards. The new Gantt view is better.
- Online Docs location is not intuitive.
It is intuitive and the ability to quickly and easily start using it is a major benefit. As team members become proficient they begin to naturally expand into more the of features and we have found that it is rare something doesn't work as designed. We do have times when we wish something would work slightly differently but the adjustments that come out often solve those stumbling blocks over time.
