Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Monday.com is being used by the staff at my organization to collaborate on producing video lectures for medical students. The platform makes it easy to allocate tasks and communicate changes. I can easily message others on the site. It also allows us to link Google Docs to individual tasks making it even easier to share content in real time. I receive daily updates from each of the teams I am subscribed to on monday.com.

Pros and Cons

Daily email updates on recent activities.
Ability to list tasks to individual team members and label with associated priority levels.
Easy to navigate layout of website with good use of colors.

The icon for the "inbox" looks more like a download icon rather than an inbox icon.
An auto archive setting for individual pulses after a set number of days would be helpful.
I would like the ability to customize what I view each time I open a board in the workspace.

Usability

Intuitive, user friendly web page with good use of colors to appropriately highlight things. Easily able to view my messages and updates to the boards. Icons overall are very easy to identify and access various things like calendar and notifications. Integration with email makes it easy to view updates on my phone and let others know I have viewed an update without having to log in to the website from a computer.

Support Rating

Received prompt reply from friendly staff when I had a question about my profile and emailed them. The support staff got back to me by email in a day and gave a helpful answer that resolved my problem. I feel comfortable seeking help from the support staff when needed and would recommend.

Reliability & Availability

The overall performance of monday.com has been great. It has kept the whole team on the same page when discussing projects and dividing up tasks. Real time communication and sharing documents is important for my job and monday.com has made it very easy. I like that I can communicate with my team on monday.com rather than sending emails back and forth.

Team based, collaborative tasks are best suited due to ability to communicate publicly within a group and clearly allocate tasks to individuals and share relevant documents associated with tasks. It is best for tasks that require a lot of back and forth iterations and communications. It is especially great for large groups with 10 or more people because it helps keep everyone organized and on the same page. It's easier to communicate with monday.com than in-person meetings.
