Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Easier overall front end view to other departments, of our team's tasks and where we are up to.
  • Easier setup of new boards, without having to customise workflow, etc.
  • Ease of use and aesthetics.
monday.com is being used to track different departments teams day to day tasks, and also studio launches, etc. It solves the issues of working from home and gives a detailed front end view of to-do tasks for each department, so the studio can continue to work in harmony. It also helps track the launch calendar with its calendar view function.
  • Good layout for quick viewing of overall tasks.
  • Easy UI and interface, helping new users understand how to view it and also grow to be able to use it.
  • Easy to edit what tasks show e.g. assignees, stakeholders etc. The customisation is a massive factor in why it's such a good tracking tool.
  • Sidebar/UI for editing user accounts/different boards. The minimal design is cool, but the ability to customise this more would be appreciated.
  • Make automation easier to understand for new users.
The templates help showcase what the boards can contain, and I found it helped me when I first started with monday.com. Its ability to show from a glance, what is happening on a board, is good. Sometimes things can be too detailed, so this is where its strengths are.
The ease of use has negated the need to use the customer support, but for new employees, there is comprehensive help/documentation to get started.
Since the descriptions and purpose of tools on monday.com are well explained, reliability and understanding of designed features is to be expected. This has helped monday.com become the go to project management tool for us.

For overall project management and for an understandable overall view of a departments aims/tasks, it's great. Its weakness is being able to go into depth with specifics for a task, and I feel it takes some digging to see this. Maybe a way to show tasks in their group in more detail?
