Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Duplication of boards is a huge benefit and reduces overhead.
  • Salesforce integration is not available on standard which impacts our adoption.
  • Folder structure has caused a lot of confusion.
Project and Task Management primarily. Also used for some basic operational tasks like candidate tracking and leave requests. We also integrate with Slack which is important for efficiency. It is primarily used by Professional Services and some executives.
  • Easy configuration.
  • Light administration.
  • Good integration ecosystem.
  • Plenty of automation options.
  • Needs multi branch folder structure.
  • Integration options are great but to do detailed integration you need Zapier which makes it more complex and costly.
  • Enterprise cost is prohibitive to SMB.
Fundamentals of task management are great. Some integration works really well. Others are only available by upgrading to Enterprise. Seems ridiculous that we are a professional services client selling Salesforce and we "have" to upgrade to Monday Enterprise licensing to get any form of integration with our core platform.
Forums are reasonably helpful. Haven't had to use support all that much.
It's been great from a visual perspective and reporting to highlight professional services utilisation and performance. Basic task management on projects is solid. We use Harvest to track time and the out of the box integration (without Zapier) is very poor. If integration is going to be advertised as a strength of monday.com then more ootb features are required. Not 1 or 2 functionalities. Automation in general is very strong and super user friendly.

Very well suited to 80% of our projects where we are dealing with a set scope.

Not suited for complex projects and programs with interdependencies or if you have multiple systems and you are seeking one source of truth.
