monday.com is being utilized across our entire department as a cross-functional resource. This tool provides visibility and transparency across all teams into key activities, deliverables, and milestones. This is especially helpful when it comes to oversight on specific program launches. We have the ability to iterate on internal processes and refine what we are doing from an efficiency perspective.
- Tracking statuses, deadlines, and ownership.
- Visual displays & data rollups.
- Organizes teams and work streams.
- It would be great if we could link boards to specific groups instead of them appearing on every group in the overall structure of a board, that way other teams do not get confused.
- Sub-items have been in beta for far too long and do not have the same functionality as the main level tasks. It would be great if this piece could get resolved ASAP so it becomes an easier tool to use.
I find monday.com extremely user-friendly. I started utilizing this platform with no previous knowledge or experience and I was able to become a power user through the library of tutorials and webinars, creating my own project test boards, and using the tool on a daily basis. Once we got the rest of the department on board to utilize the same tool cross-functionally, it has provided us with one platform to all collaborate in and use.
Jordan Duvall was the best dedicated Customer Success Manager. I'm sad that we will not longer have this benefit since we have not reached out 100+ users on the account, but his support alone went a LONG way with our team and implementation. Not only has he been there as an additional resource to ask questions our internal team is unable to answer but also provided us with additional trainings on any topics that came up from our team. Thanks to him, more of our team have been active users in the account!
Overall performance in terms of features working as designed and reliability has been pretty great thus far. I would say sometimes, there are glitches in the system and I need to reload/refresh the page but it is a pretty quick process. There have been a couple of times where the platform stopped working, which halted internal operations but in the past year it only happened twice. The features within the platform have worked extremely well for our Project Management team and has helped us streamline efforts across all teams!

monday.com is well suited for areas such as project management, program management, portfolio management, customer service, work request ticketing systems, capturing important information, housing documentation all in one place, transparency and visibility across all teams, the ability to identify team workload and who is over and/or under capacity and could take on additional projects, time tracking, etc.
