We use monday.com to manage our R&D projects. It helps keep the team focused on our targets and goals and is a very useful tool in planning the tasks to be done during a set time frame. The software also helps track delayed tasks and provides data on how the team/projects are running at a glance.

Usability

Usability is rather intuitive. This is very specific from case to case since not every person understands software the same way. But navigating through the software is easy and intuitive. There are no hidden functionalities or advanced settings. I do lack, however, some integrations like SharePoint for data and document management.

Support Rating

Customer support is superb. It is fast, flexible, informative, and always spreads positive energy. There is some lack of empowerment sometimes from their sides, but this is something that is common in this kind of service, especially if you want to provide the fast service that monday.com offers.

Reliability & Availability

Nothing to comment. I did the 15-day trial to get a feel for the software. I got a very good idea of what they were offering after that time. In terms of uptime, I have seen no issues so far.

monday.com software is very well suited for a lot of applications because of its sandbox structure which makes it extremely adjustable and flexible. Most of these types of software have been designed targeting the tech/software industry in mind. However, the work management platform has proved to be very useful in any kind of project management environment.

For more complex projects in the industrial environment, maybe it lacks the kind of structure needed where the work is more document based and where an independent database is needed to navigate through the different documents.
