Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We use monday.com to manage projects in our marketing department. We use it to assign projects, manage projects, and report to the C-Level.

Pros

  • internal communication
  • automates repetitive work
  • easy high level reporting

Cons

  • refresh speed
  • making it so you can use the cross account copier on accounts held in different servers.
  • I am not crazy about pulling out the different tools, "CRM" "Dev" "marketer" and selling those separately
  • monday has created greater visibility of what my department accomplishes in our organization.
  • monday has increased efficiency and reporting of task completion/timecard accountability.
  • monday has improved our teams ability to collaborate now that everyone works from home.
Often there is a template board for the use case I am trying to build. Once a company has its boards built and it's data input, building out reporting tools is incredible easy and intuitive. It is extremely easy to incorporate tools like gmail. The ability to export data to excel helps us to save work and do reporting to external sources as well.
As a monday.com partner we have been given much support in selling and marketing monday licenses and professional services. It does seem like a lot of the attention is directed at scoring big accounts with lots of licenses. A lot of the appeal of monday seems to be that it helps organizations manage their business process and saves money, so we see a lot of smaller businesses utilizing monday. For these smaller businesses, monday is a great option because they cannot afford salesforce or something like that. I would love to see more support from monday for small businesses.
monday.com mostly always works as it is intended for me. I have built out many workflows and boards in monday and have rarely had an issue with reliability or uptime. I subscribe to monday's outage updates and even those seem to rarely affect the business we do on a day to day, or that of my clients.

monday.com is an amazing tool that I would recommend to any business. Allowing internal communication to stay in one spot and automating processes and workflows all with a low-code no-code interface makes monday.com my favorite work management software. I enjoy the visual layout of monday's interface and the reporting tools help keep the bosses informed and celebrating our victories.
