Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
We've been users of monday.com since 2019. We use monday.com for every aspect of our business - internal team project tracking, application process of the new talent, and "calendar" styled execution work (e.g. social media calendar); external workflow, info logging (as an online education company, this includes logging session notes and attendance). As a fully remote company with ~10 core team members with 50+ freelance workers, monday.com is perfect for keeping track of projects, keeping each other accountable, and being the centralized platform for project management.
Pros
- Pipeline management - setting the deadline and notification helps you to keep up with those loose contacts. This doesn't have to be only around sales/CRM; it could be logging a meaningful business contact you should be touching base every 3 months, every 6 months. I'd highly recommend this pipeline tracking approach for relationship management.
- Sleek & Multifunctional form - Whether it's for talent acquisition, or collecting interests from internal or external community members, monday.com form is much more professional & fresh looking than other options (e.g. google form), and we like the 1-pager structure (as opposed to the type form format) as long as the application is not too long.
Cons
- Being able to set brand colors - for instance, on Canva Pro, you can set your brand colors and those can be more easily accessible than the rest of the colors. It'd be v helpful to keep the boards more "on brand" for the companies if monday.com has such feature as well. Along the same lines, more color choices for the status / table / text.
- efficient allocation of work amongst multiple parties
- easier setup of project management boards
monday.com is extremely reliable and although we'v experienced access issues a couple times, but that was literally only a couple times in the span of using monday.com for 4 years. My team and I love working on monday.com, so I would give close to a 10 out of 10 for its performance.
