A great tool for multi-project management and repetitive tasks
Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
We use monday.com widely in the area of project management in the construction industry. The focus here is particularly on the administration and control of multi-projects. In other words, a large number of the same or similar projects and the associated monitoring of deadlines, costs and responsibilities. In addition, the tool is also used for internal planning and control of team workload. Thanks to the simple structure, new colleagues can be quickly trained in the tool. External persons and companies can also be easily integrated for seamless cooperation. There are not even any additional costs, which is very good.
Pros
- Assignment of responsibilities to one or more tasks and thus also the management of users.
- Automation makes a multitude of tasks a thing of the past
- By integrating guests, external people can be easily and costlessly added to boards and workspaces for seamless collaboration.
- monday.com has a simple and clear user interface that can be quickly learned even by non-technical people.
Cons
- The functional scope of automations decreases greatly at the sub-element level.
- In some places, beautiful design takes precedence over usability.
- The performance of internal evaluation tools such as diagrams and overviews can be improved.
- Templates make it quick and easy to start new projects
- Mail notification in case of missed deadlines or shortly before deadlines, each person in the project knows when which task is due to whom.
- With the help of the diagram function, high-quality and appealing visualisations can be created quickly and easily. This saves time, especially for presentations.
In the entire time with monday.com, there were rarely to no problems or incidents. You could always work reliably with the toll. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that it is a browser application. If, for example, large amounts of data are moved, exported or updated, this sometimes takes a while and all elements and sub-elements sometimes take a while to duplicate. Otherwise, there is really nothing to complain about here.
