Overall Satisfaction with Namely

Namely is used by the entire organization. Every person at the company has an individual log-in. We use Namely for many purposes - salary and compensation plan information, company calendar, vacation information, org charts / titles. It makes it very easy to have all of this information in one place and to always be able to look up colleagues, even if they are in an office on the other side of the world!
  • Picture and title of every person at the company
  • Calendar so you can see who is on vacation at any point in time
  • Birthday and anniversary reminders
  • It's hard to make an fully accurate org chart due to certain limitations in the system
  • Explanation of vacation day use and availability could be more clear
  • Does not allow for geo-specific formatting (e.g. with offices in the US and Europe, the dates are always day / month / year, rather than month / day / year for the US)
  • I'm not sure if Namely has had any financial ROI for the business.
  • It has made it much easier to keep track of new hires, who is on what team, who you should reach out to with a specific question, etc.
  • Positive in that it informs everyone what days the business is closed and allows you to easily make vacation requests.
No experience with other similar products - we went from having nothing like this at all to Namely, so it has definitely been an improvement!

- Quick glance on size of teams and offices


- Keeping track of your vacation days used


- Making vacation day requests


- Full clarity on your salary and bonus structure


Namely is less appropriate for:


- Getting a clear view on the entire org chart of the organization
