Overall Satisfaction with Namely

Our organization uses Namely as our HRIS and company intranet. Employees use this platform to view pay stubs, enroll in benefits, request time off and view company forms and policies. Our goal was to integrate our benefits,401k, PTO and information as a single source sign on and streamline administration.
  • Offers compliance training and tracking as part of service.
  • Is somewhat easy to use.
  • Offers Everify for I-9's that is seamless.
  • Does not offer 360 integration with 3rd parties.
  • Namely implies that it handles FSA's and HSA's however, they just mean setting up the deductions.
  • Namely uses a general agent as a broker for your benefits instead of servicing you themselves.
  • Spent a lot of unnecessary time on implementation.
  • Has cost me more money than led to believe in order to sign up for FSA, HSA, and Cobra. They told me they could handle that.
  • Feel like employees aren't confident in payroll taxes and set up.
Namely offered more integrated technology to streamline processes. At least, that's what we were told.
Our payroll person is great and some of the support staff. Implementation is not good and doesn't seem to know what they are doing. The Namely agency is non-existent if you are a smaller employer. They have their general agent servicing us.

The cost and lack of 365 integration.

Using Namely

  • Payroll is relatively easy.
  • Adding profile information.
  • Adding documentation and resources to your main page.
  • Manage e signature is implemented through adobe. Namely has not solved problem with confidential documents being sent through email. Integration problem with Adobe.
  • Benefits. Specific benefit information is not displayed on site. Benefits just shows what the company offers, not your specific benefits you've chosen.
  • PTO-Employees are often confused about their PTO. Instead of putting accruals and carry over in one lump sum, request from different sources which confuses employee.
Yes - ok, but offices locations are not shown on mobile interface.
If it weren't for all the issues and trouble with integration and what Namely said they do vs what they actually do, I would give this a higher rating.
