Overall Satisfaction with Namely

Namely is being used across the whole organization for onboarding, document storage, appraisals, staff updates, and US payroll and benefits.

  • Document storage - create various folders in the resources section and limit the visibility of these to a few authorized users.
  • Integration with DocuSign.

I wasn’t involved in the selection process.
I joined the company after this software was implemented, but I would recommend automating certain features such as the employee right to work check process. Also, take a close look at succession planning/salary benchmarking.
It was good, but there are features we still don’t use such as competencies, corporate goals, and appreciation.
Onboarding, reporting, and some feedback mechanisms.
There is room for improvement, particularly around library and storage features.
Being US software, it can’t be used for EU payroll. It’d be good to access staff photos that are posted on the home page via a cloud library. It'd be good if the software could integrate with DocuSign.
