Overall Satisfaction with Navisworks

We use Navisworks in our VDC department for all visual 3d coordination needs. We also use Navisworks to create supplemental visuals to accompany RFI's and other submissions as needed to support other divisions within the company making their jobs easier. A Visual goes a long way to help explain the issue at hand.
  • Provides supplemental visuals
  • Easy to navigate
  • Easy to create a model
  • Annotations/markups are difficult to add in
  • Easy to append files
  • Easy to color code systems
  • Easy to navigate the model
  • Positive impact on productivity
  • Able to provide better information to architects for review
All of these products are pieces of the overall system. It is nice to have all of these portions all under the same main company.

Navisworks is well suited for building and maintaining your various model revisions in one place. The model is easy to update. Systems are easy to separate out and isolate to really dig into the various aspects of each model. Individual pieces or entire systems can be color coded to help differentiate between items.
