Overall Satisfaction with NextGen Healthcare EHR

We use NextGen EHR as our primary EHR for our clinics. From Scheduling to Patient Care to Billing, NextGen has been essential to in our daily operations. EHR has been essential in allowing us to continue to provide outstanding care for all of our patients. It helps us monitor their labs result, keep track of their care guidelines and electronically send prescriptions accordingly.

Currently only deployed to some providers to try out/demo. Overall feedback has been positive. Providers are able to utilize Mobile EHR more freely and be able to accomplish simple tasks quickly through the app.
There is always room for improvement. Out of the box templates are always hit or miss with providers especially with specialties like Behavioral health and Dermatology.

NextGen EHR is great for smaller practices, Specialty Clinics and Tribal Health Programs. Overall costs vs functionality seems to be even at least for now. Practices can customize, though a double edge sword, templates to fit their needs as much as they choose. Out of the box, NextGen Healthcare EHR has done well to listen to their clients and have made much improvements over the years.
