Nintex Workflow for Sharepoint

Overall Satisfaction with Nintex Process Platform

We have a highly customized SharePoint site that we use to manage internal documents. The Nintex Workflows are a key part of the functionality of this site. The workflows manage content update reminders, item-level security, and other notification processes.
  • The processes are very stable; the application has basically been "fire and forget."
  • When errors do occur, the reporting is a little weak. It can be hard to track down exactly why a workflow failed.
  • The application that uses Nintex has made vital information more easily accessible to people throughout the company. This enables them to make better, more educated decisions.
The application using Nintex is a SharePoint 2013 on-premise farm.
No, Nintex processes are built and maintained by IT.
The Workflow designer allows the creation of processes that are much more complex than "out-of-the-box" SharePoint. However, you should be cautious of trying to build in too much complexity.
