Overall Satisfaction with Nutanix AOS

  • We started our Nutanix AOS Journey over five years, Migrating from a 3 Tier Dell infrastructure. It became very apparent that this was something different; It just worked. With 6 Months, we'd migrated all our production systems to Nutanix AOS.
  • Since then, we've continued along with Nutanix AOS, most recently migrating from Hyper-V to Nutanix AOS, very own Hypervisor, AHV. Why? Because it simplifies operations, putting everything into that great "single plane of glass."
  • Invisible Infrastructure
  • Simple, easy to understand interface
  • One-click functionality
  • Better 3rd party integration (but that's not *really* Nutanix AOS problem)
  • We reduced from 3x42racks down to a single rack - Power and cooling savings plenty
  • If there were an "11" rating, Nutanix AOS support would probably exceed that too.
  • Let's be clear; any hardware/software platform is going to have problems; anyone that tells you differently is lying.
  • However, the difference with Nutanix AOS support is that you're put in touch with someone who knows the product inside out. So if you call, your problem WILL get resolved, usually the first time, by the person who responded to your ticket—no 1st/2nd/3rd line tiers to try and battle through.
  • We've logged issues that weren't Nutanix problems (windows/Hyper-V), and Nutanix AOS still worked with us to resolve them.
  • Finally, if you're in ANY doubt - go and look at their Net promoter score; then compare it with anyone else's...

Prism is the interface of Nutanix AOS. On the first launch, you're given a whistle-stop tour of the key features.
It's clean, intuitive, and very easy to pick up. However, don't expect to spend your days staring at this screen - It just works, giving you time back to get with other more important work.
We moved our ENTIRE infrastructure to Nutanix AOS, and not a single person noticed. Now, whilst that may not sound like a positive, when change is good, users don't notice!
