Overall Satisfaction with The Okta Identity Cloud

It is used company-wide as our single sign-on for identity. There's not much more to it than that, from my understanding, and this is the second company for which I've used it. I'm not familiar with its other features or if there are other features. But it works for our purposes.

Pros

  • Customer identity
  • Single sign on

Cons

  • It logs you out randomly, usually at the most inconvenient of times.
  • It should probably tell you when its logging you out, tough for customer calls.
  • It gets the job done for identity and that's all that's really needed.

Would you buy Okta again?

Yes

It does what it does really well: a single sign-on for customer identity. It's easy to implement and this is the second org at which I"ve used it. However, it does tend to kick you out—we called it "getting okta'd"—very randomly. This can be difficult when on a call with a client.
