Overall Satisfaction with Ooma Office
I use Ooma Office for my single-member LLC business, which focuses on educational support services like test prep, tutoring, and language learning online. I use Ooma Office, and particularly the virtual receptionist feature, to route calls for me according to client needs and requests, and I also use it to send calls to my cell phone when I am not in the office.
- Virtual receptionist feature provides essential information to clients and routes calls appropriately
- Text messaging feature is great for clients who need to send quick communications
- Wireless, instant connectivity to their DP1 desk phone makes for easy setup
- Customer service available through chat essentially just tells you to call anyway, defeating the purpose
- Some text messaging features are problematic, such as how you can't block a contact

This is my first experience with a VOIP phone system, but previously I had tried to use AT&T for my business line, although the setup never even happened because of misinformation I was given. In the end I'm glad I ended up with Ooma instead because it has been much more affordable and really simple to setup and use properly.
