Use Cases and Deployment Scope

This enterprise resource planning software suite is used by different teams and departments across my entire organization. For my department, we mainly use Oracle Cloud ERP to manage financial processes within our organization, thus ensuring a dynamic and centralized accounting infrastructure. Our use of Oracle Cloud ERP has greatly benefitted my organization in vital areas such as expense management, cash forecasting, cash management, and event-based graphical analysis of our finances, amongst many other benefits.

Pros and Cons

Streamlined analytical access of all departments, in my organization. To include, real-time insights on ledger account balances, receivables, collections across my company.
Efficient expense management and matching.
Real time cash reconciliations.

Support Infrastructure - At the early stages of using this tool, I sometimes struggled with Oracle Cloud ERP (financial module.) It would have been almost impossible to use if my organization didn't have round-the-clock in-house support staffs to guide my colleagues and me through the numerous bottlenecks at the initial stages.
I think Oracle needs to provide more vendor created resource, for end users.
Unintuitive interface.

Return on Investment

More efficient management of company activity - including budgets, income, expenses, etc.
Easy, authorized access to my organization's financial activity from anywhere. This is due mainly to the cloud capability of Oracle Cloud ERP.
Streamlined and faster approval processes, for invoices and requisitions.

Oracle Cloud ERP is well suited for large-sized organizations, especially those with operations spread across multiple locations who need to streamline their financial operation. It is ideally suited for running financial reports about aspects of an organization at scale, automating key assets and liabilities such as accounts payable, allocation of expenses, integration with sub-ledgers, etc.
