Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Commerce Cloud

I am the main user with Oracle Commerce Cloud. We have a few people on our Marketing team who use it as well to post and update different weekly flyer deals. We also have a contracting company who we work with for maintenance on our different jobs that we have synced up with OCC. OCC has changed our company strategy completely.
  • Saving code within different widgets to reuse on different pages
  • Webhook connectioms
  • Ease of uploading widgets
  • Documentation on commerce cloud
  • Better support on Severity 1 tickets. There have been times I do not see a resolution for a month
  • More detailed information on errors from different job failures
  • Commerce cloud is helping us enhance our ship to store program dramatically
  • It has driven lots of new customers and same customers as well to our website
  • It has made our brand become more recognized
There is lots of more customization with Oracle Commerce Cloud, however the ease of installing plugins and utilizing them on your website is one thing I envy about WordPress
Definitely well suited for any successful retail company that wants to improve their success even more. Not well suited for smaller companies that may not be expanding in the coming years

  • Advertising in-store and online promotions
  • Placing transactions through an online portal
  • Getting new and returning users
  • Getting customers to visit our website through email click-theoughs
  • Connecting with responsys
  • Optimizing search engine functions to give the customer the best experience
  • Managing products through multiple catalogs for optimal organization between web merchandisers
  • Connecting to other Oracle products easily, for the most part

Oracle Commerce Cloud is definitely not my favorite platform to use, however our company has gotten very comfortable with the way our website operates using it so I do not see us switching to a different product any time soon. Over time, I’ve grown to have a love/hate relationship with this product, but as I learn more about what it offers I come to appreciate its functionality more.
