Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Dyn Managed DNS

We use it to manage our public DNS as well as their failover services for high-availability applications.
  • The interface is very intuitive and we can easily modify our records.
  • We can easily track and rollback changes made.
  • Failover DNS services allow us to have DR take over automatically when one site goes down unexpectedly.
  • While the interface is easy to use, the navigation could benefit from better breadcrumb location tracking for services and hosts.
  • During a datacenter migration, the quick and easy use of Dyn for our public DNS management ensured we did not have any downtime.
I've used other registrars and it's important to me that their interfaces be easy to navigate and make changes in. Dyn is very good in this space compared to others I have used.
I have not actually had to use Dyn support.
There is some room to improve the interface, but the service works well, updates easily and in a clear fashion, and provides value.
We use the service to manage hundreds of domains and subdomains. We like the service and it functions well for us.
