Overall Satisfaction with PandaDoc

PandaDoc is used to prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts. It's used by sales and legal departments. PandaDoc resolved problems related to recurrent and manual procedures made by several individuals, giving them more time to do their jobs and not to adjust documents any time was need it. Also, centralized the documents and templates used by these two department[s] into a single platform.
  • Preparing contracts, sales proposals and quotes.
  • Centralizing documents into a single platform.
  • Creation of easy-to-use templates.
  • Document tracking and follow up.
  • The documents editor is very limited.
  • Is hard and complex to copy content within different documents.
  • Sometimes, the documents sent through PandaDoc arrived like junk mail.
  • It reduced the time invested in the preparation of quotes and proposals.
  • In some cases, the efficiency of creating documents conflicts with the lack of features like a good document editor.
  • The process for tracking proposals sent to customers is more efficient, providing excellent insights to the sales team.
The ability to create documents based on templates is optimal, easy to use, and simple. eSignatures are very useful in the current context in which businesses are running most of the time through the internet. The content library is useful when the required artifacts are created. The templates make processes like contract creations very easy and simple.
PandaDoc has been very useful in reducing time-consuming activities like contract signing, proposal approvals, and especially, the close-deal process. It simplified the closing-deals follow-ups with the customers, thanks to the feature that allows knowing who opened and read a document. The mobile app is fine but basic and not as complete as the web version, it's useful for notifications and signature in some cases.
This is the weakest point of PandaDoc. The document editor is very basic and the production of professional-looking documents in most cases requires a third-party solution. For example, you can't mix cells in a table or use more than 7 fonts without importing some extra fonts from Google fonts. There are no draw functionalities or any option to insert objects required in a flow diagram. In the end, is easier to make a document in Word or Pages and import it to PandaDoc.
  • Using PandaDoc as a tool for approvals from certain stakeholders in the company.
  • The price tables are handy for SWAG estimates, helping to save time when someone needs high-level information.
  • As a tool to keep content up-to-date.
HubSpot CRM has functionalities similar to those offered by PandaDoc, with the advantage of having all the potential of a CRM to do the job on a single platform. HubSpot CRM's editor is some points more complex than PandaDoc's but once you learn to use it, it is easy to create proposals, quotes, or brochures that can be shared more easily with a client.
PandaDoc is a good platform for basic sales proposals and quotes. Also, is quite good for contracts and exhibits. It lacks a good document editor that allows complex designs, tables with mixed cells, or the creations of diagrams and draws. It is also complex to share content between different documents without adding it to the library.
